Cameron & Anna

Anna and Cameron had a vision for their wedding, and considering they're both photographers, it was a very 'focused' (hahahaha~ ok, serious) vision that they were both looking for. We went to one venue, that was relatively new, but the permits weren't approved yet, so we went a-hunting.....We looked at another venue, a barn, it was beautiful, but....not what they wanted.(*A little history here, this is now one month away from the wedding...yep, you read that right....one month*)
3 weeks before the wedding, Cameron calls. "We found the place! It's a barn out in Huasna!".....it was a barn. an old non-working, stuffed to the gills with 'barn stuff' barn. No electricity, a mile and a 1/2 off the road, down a two track road. a barn. (Now, see,...I'm not a photographer...I'm a coordinator...I think about logistics.......I was really trying to be excited about the *barn* but, oh dear!)
They assured me that, with one weekend, they would have the *barn* cleared and clean, with the help of their friends, and I gotta tell you, they have some GOOD friends.
The barn got cleaned out, and the party was on! To this day, this was one of the most heartfelt ceremonies I have ever witnessed, and Anna's attention to detail throughout the whole event made the venue cute and whimsical. I loved this wedding!
Some pretty words from Cameron:
" After I first contacted the catering company that Jennifer worked for, I realized that I had totally underestimated all that her service entailed. When I asked about where to get tables and chairs, she promptly replied, " We'll take care of it". When I asked about the portable toilets and space heaters, she said, "We'll take care of it" When I panicked about the fact that there was no power at our new venue (3 weeks prior to the wedding) she calmly replied, "We'll take care of it!"
Jennifer not only served our guests amazingly tasty food, she also coordinated our reception, and took care of all our rental needs! At the time she was working as a catering coordinator for the company we hired, and it was clear to me that her experience went beyond catering. When I asked her about her experience, she told me that she's been coordinating weddings since 1994, and that her catering coordinating was an added bonus to her resume. Anyone who hires Jennifer will have a seasoned pro making sure that their wedding day is a wonderful success."
Ah, shucks! =)
